Overview of Message Types on TeamSnap ONE
TeamSnap ONE offers a variety of ways for parents, players, coaches, and managers to communicate effectively within their teams. Messages can be sent by any member or contact with access to a team. Team coaches and managers have the ability to send messages to all members of their team, regardless of whether their invitations have been accepted.
The following message types are available in TeamSnap ONE:
Team Chat
Team Chats are a continuous communication channel for all team members. Team Chats can be found in the messaging tab. You can review how to send Team Chats here.
Direct and Group Messaging
Direct messages allow members to privately message one or more recipients. This feature provides a secure and private channel for one-on-one conversations or small group discussions. You can review how to send Group Messages here.
Alerts
Alerts are a distinct message type used for urgent or important announcements, sent exclusively by organization administrators. Recipients receive these alerts through a separate conversation within the Messages tab and, optionally, via email, depending on the sender's preference. Alerts can not be responded to.
